 চিত্র : কো-এক্সিয়াল ক্যাবল কো-এক্সিয়াল ক্যাবল দুটি সুপরিবাহী বা কন্ডাক্টর (Conductor) ও অপরিবাহী বা পরাবৈদ্যুতিক পদার্থের সাহায্যে তৈরি করা হয়। কো-এক্সিয়াল ক্যাবল সাধারণত কোএক্স (Co-ax) নামে পরিচিত। কো-এক্স ক্যাবলের কেন্দ্র দিয়ে অতিক্রম করে একটি সলিড (Solid) কপার তার কেন্দ্রের পরিবাহী তার আচ্ছাদিত করার জন্য ও বাইরের পরিবাহী থেকে পৃথক রাখার জন্য এদের মাঝখানে অপরিবাহী পদার্থ থাকে। বাইরের পরিবাহককে প্লাস্টিক জ্যাকেট দ্বারা ঢেকে রাখা হয়। এ ধরনের ক্যাবলের ডাটা স্থানান্তরের গতি বেশি হয়। তবে ডাটা ট্রান্সফার রেট নির্ভর করে তারের দৈর্ঘ্যের উপর। কো এক্সিয়াল ক্যাবল ব্যবহার করে এক কিলোমিটার পর্যন্ত দূরত্বে ডিজিটাল ডাটা প্রেরণ করা যায়।
