HTML Tag   HTML মার্কআপ ভাষায় ব্যবহৃত ট্যাগকেই সাধারণত HTML ট্যাগ বলা হয়। HTML tags একটি অ্যাঙ্গেল ব্র্যাকেট < > দ্বারা আবৃত একটি কী-ওয়ার্ড। যেমন <html> । HTML tags সাধারণত জোড়ায় জোড়ায় লেখা হয়। যেমন <b> এবং </b>। প্রথম ট্যাগকে Start tag বা opening tag এবং শেষ ট্যাগকে end tag বা closing tag বলে। শেষ ট্যাগটি back slash (/) দ্বারা লিখতে হয়। <html> ট্যাগের মধ্যেই ডকুমেন্টের সবকিছু অবস্থান করে। <html> ট্যাগটি <head> tag ও <body> tag এই দুইটি অংশে বিভক্ত। HTML-এর কোড ইংরেজি বড় হাতের, ছোট হাতের কিংবা উভয় হাতের মিশ্রণে লেখা যায়। তাই <title> এর পরিবর্তে <TITLE> লেখা যায়।

Email   ই-মেইল হলো কম্পিউটার নেটওয়ার্ক ব্যবহার করে এক কম্পিউটার থেকে অন্য কম্পিউটারে তথ্য আদান-প্রদান ব্যবস্থা। লোকাল এরিয়া নেটওয়ার্ক ব্যবহার করে সীমিত স্থানের মধ্যে এবং ইন্টারনেটের মাধ্যমে সারা বিশ্বের যে কোন স্থানে ই মেইল পাঠানো যায়। বিভিন্ন ই-মেইল প্রোগ্রাম ব্যবহার করে মেইল পাঠানো যায়। ই-মেইল প্রোগ্রামে ঢুকে বার্তা টাইপ করে প্রাপকের ঠিকানা নির্দিষ্ট করে পাঠানো (Send) নির্দেশ দিলে ই-মেইল তথ্য সরাসরি প্রাপকের কম্পিউটারে না গিয়ে তার টার্মিনাল বা ওয়ার্কস্টেশন বা সার্ভারে গিয়ে জমা হয়। প্রাপক তার নামে কোন মেইল এসেছে কিনা তা অনুসন্ধানের নির্দেশ দিলে টার্মিনাল থেকে প্রাপকের কম্পিউটারে মেইলটি চলে আসে। একটি মেইল একই সঙ্গে অনেকের নিকট পাঠানো যায়। অন্য প্রোগ্রামে করা (যেমন, এমএস ওয়ার্ড) ফাইলকে ই-মেইলের সাথে যুক্ত করে পাঠানো যায়। একে ফাইল এটাচমেন্ট (Attachment) বলা হয়। এটাচমেন্ট করে ভিডিও এবং অডিও ফাইলও পাঠানো যায়।

 টেলিকনফারেন্সিং এর মাধ্যমে বিভিন্ন সভা, সেমিনার বা দলবদ্ধভাবে যোগাযোগ করা যায়। ভিন্ন ভৌগোলিক দূরত্বে কিছু ব্যক্তি অবস্থান করে টেলিযোগাযোগ সিস্টেমের মাধ্যমে সংযুক্ত থেকে কোন সভ্য অথবা সেমিনার অনুষ্ঠানের প্রক্রিয়াকে বলা হয় টেলিকনফারেন্সিং। বিশ্বের যে কোন জায়গা থেকে যে কোন ব্যক্তিই টেলিফোন মাধ্যম ব্যবহার করে টেলিকনফারেন্স করতে পারে। টেলিকনফারেন্স বিভিন্ন ধরনের হতে পারে। যেমন: পাবলিক কনফারেন্স, ক্লোজড কনফারেন্স এবং রিড অনলি কনফারেন্স । পাবলিক কনফারেন্স সবার জন্য উন্মুক্ত। যে কেউ এই কনফারেন্সে অংশগ্রহণ করতে পারে। ক্লোজড কনফারেন্স সবার জন্য উন্মুক্ত নয়: পাসওয়ার্ড প্রটেকটেড। শুধুমাত্র নির্দিষ্ট পাসওয়ার্ড দিয়ে এই কনফারেন্সে অংশগ্রহণ করা যায়। টেলিকনফারেন্সিং সফটওয়্যার ব্যবস্থার মাধ্যমে এগুলো নিয়ন্ত্রণ করা হয়।
